Maryssa Becker was nominated for Athlete of the Year at the 2017 Top 10 Sports Stories & Awards Banquet. Maryssa Becker is a graduate of North Medford High School, and completed her career at Louisville last spring making second-team all-ACC. She started every game at either pitcher (career-high 22 wins), designated hitter or first base and was second on the team with a .366 batting average and 33 RBIs. She’s ninth on the school career home run list with 26.
