The OSAA / U.S. Bank / Les Schwab Tires Speech State Championships are scheduled for Thursday through Saturday, April 19-21 at Werner University Center on the campus of Western Oregon University in Monmouth.
More than 500 Oregon high school students will compete for titles in debate, student congress, individual events and after dinner speaking.
After dinner speaking finals are contested Friday 8 to 9:30 p.m.
Individual championships are Saturday 1 to 4 p.m. Debate finals begin at 4 p.m. followed by an awards presentation at 6 p.m.
Admission is free.
