Rogues Drop Both Games in Double-Header
In the first game of the double-header, a four-run fourth inning by the Seals was enough to hold off the Rogues’ late game rally. The Rogues overcame a 7-0 deficit in the second game of the double-header, but couldn’t hold on to the lead in the final innings.
Jarod Large (North Iowa Area CC) made his return to the mound for the first time in over a year since undergoing Tommy John surgery. Like his childhood friend and Rogues teammate Mitch Neunborn, Large struck out the first batter he faced since returning from Tommy John surgery.
Cole Carder extending his hitting streak to eight games.
The Rogues will finish up this series with the Seals tomorrow at 10:05am before traveling to Lincoln for a three game series against the Potters. They will then return home on Friday, June 29th to kick-off another jam-packed weekend against the Chico Heat. The first 500 fans in attendance to Friday’s home game will receive a FREE Rowdy Championship Bobblehead, presented by Rogue Credit Union.
