The Ridgeview Ravens Volleyball team was riding a 3 game winning streak when they hosted their cross town rivals, the Redmond Panthers on Tuesday (Sep. 30).
The Ravens swept the Panthers in straight sets 17-25, 14-25, 14-25 to hand Redmond their 10th loss of the year and their 38th loss in a row, with their last win coming Sep 15 of 2012 against Galdstone in the consolation round of the North Marion Tournament.
‘Sun Mountain Fun Center Player of the Game,’ Sr. OH Katrina Johnson (6’2″), lead the Ravens with 17 kills.

Johnson and Sr. MB Chloe Ross (6’3″) used their height advantage to dominate the net as the Ravens chalk up their first IMC win of the year.
Previous to their dominant performance last Saturday (Sep 27) at the Parkrose Tournament at Parkrose High School (Portland) where they defeated Franklin (3-7), The Dalles (4-10) and Parkrose (3-6) in straight sets, the Ravens had lost to Bend, Summit and Mountain View.
The Ravens will host The #1 ranked Bend Lava Bears next Tuesday (Oct 7) before they participate in the Central Oregon ‘Clearwater Classic’ at Bend High on Saturday, Oct 11.
The Panthers (0-10) hope to break their losing streak against Bend on Thursday (Oct 2) at their home floor.
