COTTAGE GROVE, OR – Once the game started, Salem Academy started off strong and never let go. Between precise throwing and an interception thrown for a touchdown, Salem Academy held off a late 4th quarter surge from Blanchet Catholic on Saturday, moving on to the 3A finals, 33-26.
After trading off drives to start the game, Salem Academy (10-2, 5-1 PacWest Conference, 3-0 Playoffs) got on the board first with a 32 yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Colton Daniels to senior wide receiver Rylan Stamback.
