EVERY GAME OF AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL STATE TOURNAMENT TO AIR ONLINE
The American Legion Post 16 in Roseburg is hosting the 2018 AAA Legion baseball Oregon state tournament July 28 through August 1. Tournament games will be played at Roseburg’s historic Legion Field at Bill Gray Stadium and for the first time fans will be able to watch every game of the tournament online for free, thanks to the generous sponsorship of local businesses.
CBS Sports Radio 1490 The Score and 541Radio.com have partnered to provide broadcast coverage of every game from the Legion baseball state tournament. Games will be streamed live on 541Radio.com and available to watch for free on multiple devices including computers, tablets, smartphones, and TVs.
“We’ve been broadcasting Roseburg Dr. Stewart’s baseball games online for the past few years,” said Joey Keeran, Program Director for CBS Sports Radio 1490 The Score. “We’re looking forward to providing even more coverage to Legion baseball fans around the state during the tournament. Legion Field is one of the best places in the state for baseball and now fans that can’t make the trip to Roseburg can still enjoy the games.”
Broadcasts will start five minutes prior to first pitch of each tournament game and will be archived on 1490 The Score’s YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcsAJpnk2dVYgBUH6NTL-UQ). 541Radio.com will also post scores and game recaps from the tournament, along with updated game start times.
