FINAL ROUND PLAY TUE.: C.O. GOLFERS ATOP LEADERBOARD

 

The OSAA U.S. BANK / LES SCHWAB TIRES State High School Golf Championships teed off today at several courses statewide, and 3 central Oregon teams are atop the leaderboard at the turn.

The Girls teams at Summit and Bend High lead the 5A Girls, respectively,          in Corvallis at Trysting Tree.  Summit owns an 11-shot lead over the Lady Lava Bears.

Summit’s Madison Odiorne is in 4th Place at +8, while Bend’s Heidi Froelich is 5-shots back.

At the Girls 4A Championships at Eagle Crest outside Redmond, the Crook County Cowgirls lead the field by 17-strokes led by Sr. Kirsti Kelso (pictured above) who is in 5th place just 5-shots off the lead.

Meantime….the Summit boys team is in 2nd place, and Bend 6th after the opening round of Boys 5A action at Emerald Valley in Creswell.

Ryan Blackwell of Summit ranks 7th, just 7-shots off the lead.

At the 4A Boys at Quail Valley, Sisters is in 5th place and Crook County 9th. Zach Cummings of Sisters is 3rd on the board, 10-strokes back of the leader.
