Former North Medford Black Tornado Quarterback Ben Running will join Demi DeSoto and Christopher Janisch on the broadcast of the #1 Sheldon Irish vs the North Medford Black Tornado game today at Spiegelberg Stadium at 1pm.
Running, who graduated in 2005, began his Black Tornado career as a wide receiver on the 2003 John Beck Black Tornado team that fell to Tigard in the OSAA 4A State championship game. He went on to be a two time all conference quarterback. He has been a coach at Crater for 8 years, a coach at Phoenix for 1 year, and was on Steve Turner’s staff until taking a job back east that he will leave to start soon.
