The fourth error of the game for the Rogues allowed the tying and lead runs to score for the San Francisco Seals in the top of the ninth inning with two outs.
Medford native and Great West League Player of the Week Cole Carder (University of Antelope Valley) continues to crush baseballs. He went 3-4 with two runs scored, including a two-run home run in the sixth inning.
Baseball has a funny way of challenging players after they make a bad play. Rogues shortstop Riley Kasper (Saddleback College), who’s error in the ninth inning allowed the go-ahead run to score, came up with two outs and a runner on second in the bottom of the ninth. He hit a ball high and deep to the left field corner, but it died on the warning track to end the game.
Tomorrow is $2 Tuesday, presented by SportClips of Medford! Bleacher tickets are just $2 for tomorrow’s game against the San Francisco Seals.
