Heppner Avoids Upset In Opener

What a beautiful opening night for Football out at The St Paul Rodeo Grounds as the host Bucks out of the 2A Tri-River League, welcomed the 2015 Defending State 2A Champions, The Heppner Mustangs representing the 2A Columbia Basin Conference. This contest was everything you could ask for in an opener, as the outcome was not decided until under 10 seconds showed on the clock. Kind of what you would expect out of two programs with a ton of pride and history of success to back it up.
