One of Sports most flamboyant competitors and all around cool guy is Pro Bowler (PBA) Pete Weber.
Met Pete when the PBA rolled through Medford 2002-2005, and he gave me his cell number and said call anytime. So I did last year when he was competing in Reno.
He’s not a big fan of Jim Rome…listen why! One year, he wins the Medford Open ($40k) and walks in the bar and asks me where the manager is. I direct him to the head guy and he says buy the house a drink on him…!! His bill was over $2,000!
