The Dragons seem to be peaking in time for their stiffest challenge of the season—a showdown at home against the Lebanon Warriors for the Mid Willamette Conference championship.
Lebanon was ranked No. 2 in the 5A media poll before falling to South Albany last week, while Dallas has been inching its way into the top 10 since losing to Central in week five. Both teams have 7-1 and (4-1 in league) records.
Dallas head coach Tracy Jackson said the players are “definitely improving each week … especially on defense.”
Since the 20-21 loss at Central, the Dragons have given up 14, 0 and 12 points in their last three games.
