Brian Conklin will fly to Milwaukie Saturday to eulogize the man, Rick Majerus, who recruited him to play ball at St. Louis University out of North Eugene High School.
Conklin is one of the great ballers to come from Oregon in the new millenium era with the likes of Kevin Love, Abe Lodwick, Terrence Jones, Kyle Singler, Terrence Ross, Maarty Luenen, and others.
He led North Eugene to the 5A Title, and made it to the NCAA Tournament twice while playing for Majerus.
