Re: North Medford vs Lake Oswego 6A Football on NFHS Network
North Medford football fans will be the first in our region this fall to will have to purchase a
National Federation of High Schools subscription to see the live video of the Black Tornado first round
football playoff game from Lake Oswego. The cost is $9.95 for a thirty-day subscription, and will allow
fans to see the North game and all other live NFHS playoff contests available online. Fans can go the
home page of tablerocksports.net for a link to the North vs Lake Oswego game this week, and all future
NFHS events for local teams. There is no charge to view the game on demand Saturday on the NFHS
Lake Oswego archive.
Regular live video provider Table Rock Sports is unable to originate a live broadcast when our teams
(North, South, Grants Pass, and Crater) have playoff events at schools who are NHFS members and
originate live video. And depending on the sport, live video from the quarterfinal round on must be
presented exclusively through the NFHS Network. As such, Table Rock Sports is becoming a Schools
Broadcast Provider with the NFHS this fall to ensure we can provide coverage of our teams all the way
through the championship rounds.
“Last fall Table Rock Sports was unable to provide live coverage of Crater football in the semi-final round
and for the South Medford boys basketball team last winter that advanced to the state final” says TR
Sports co-owner Joe Brett. “Our agreement with the Oregon School Activities Association and the NFHS
network will allow our announcers to provide coverage of our teams all the way to the finish.” Brett
adds that TR Sports will look to pick up other schools from our region in the later playoff rounds,
providing additional value to the monthly subscription.
