Like a great poker game, two of the best teams in this early 2A season, threw all their chips on the table and said, “We’re All In!” It was St Paul that drew the Royal Flush on this Friday night, as they took down the # 7 Santiam Wolverines in The Rodeo Grounds 38-12.
The Wolverines brought in their 4-0 pre-season record into the stadium, along with a great traveling support system but The Bucks were just too much on this night on both sides of the ball. That combined with The Wolverines really hurting themselves all night with yellow hankies on crucial plays, saw The Bucks walk into the contest with the top ranking in the state, and they walked right back out with it after 48 minutes of play.
