STATE CHAMPS COMEPTE IN 'TRIPLE BY-PASS' CHALLENGE

Take the Sideline’s Sports Bar & Grill ‘Triple By-Pass Challenge’ and try to do what only one person/athlete has done in 10-years since Trevor Kahlberg opened his doors to business to central Oregon Sports fans.

Sideline’s and The Byrd Show (KBND FM-100.1/1110-am)  challenged the 4A State Football Champions to try it on, and the Ridgeview Ravens obliged and showed up Thursday night to a resounding applause by customers.

Could the big studs, and ‘Hogs’ that blocked for All-State Running Back Boomer Fleming to run over opponents at an average of 150-yards per game, win this challenge?

AFTER BYPASS CHALLENGE

Each contestant has one hour to scarf down an 18-inch tall giant cheese burger that includes 8 patties, 8 slices of ham, bacon, cheese, fried egg, tomato, lettuce and a side of fries. Players can’t leave the table, and contestants are provided a bucket….just in case.

Only Brian Champman (pictured below) of the State 5A Champion Mt. View Cougars 2011 team was able to win the contest with 12-minutes to spare. Chapman’s picture and accomplishment remains on the Wall of Fame inside Sideline’s.

See how Freshman Greg Connor did as he was the lone survivor in the chase with 7 of his teammates.  And, who were the other Ravens who tried the Challenge?

Here’s my Celebrity Co-Host Sophomore All-State defensive Back George Mendazona who’s 99-yard Interception return for a TD in the final minute of the Title game sealed the deal for Ridgeview.
