The North Medford sophomore wrestler won the 113-pound state championship, defeating Hillsboro’s Tyler Rabang, 10-5. It was Lopez’s second straight crown. Following the school season, she placed third at the USA folkstyle nationals to earn All-American honors for the second straight year. Lopez won the third-place match by fall in 1:41.
