Caroline McMahon, a junior, was named co-player of the year in the state for Class 3A. She led the Challengers to a second straight state championship and a 25-3 record. The outside hitter, who was also Southern Cascade League player of the year, averaged four kills, three digs and 1½ aces per set with a 52.8 kill percentage.
