Before the 2017 Top 10 Sports Stories & Awards Banquet on February 8th, we’re featuring local athletes who have been nominated for Athlete of the Year.
Quarterback for the Raiders, Tanner Trosin ranked second in the NAIA in passing yards per game (347.4) and total offense per game (380.5). He threw for 31 touchdowns with only seven interceptions, while completing 62.5 percent of his passes. Became Southern Oregon’s second first-team All-American quarterback and was Frontier Conference offensive player of the year.
