Tablerock Sports Athlete of the Week: Robbie Patterson

Robbie Patterson and the South Medford Panthers had themselves quite the night last Friday, defeating the North Medford Black Tornado 55-6. Patterson lead the way for the Panthers, going 13-15 with 285 yards and four touchdowns. All four of Robbie’s touchdowns ended in the arms of four star recruit Chase Cota.

Patterson’s big performance did’t just come out of the blue. On the year, he’s tallied 1085 yards with 16 touchdowns and completed 69-101 (68.3%) of his passes with only three interceptions. Which, has led the Panthers to a 4-1 overall record, 2-0 league record and a OSAA ranking of seventh.

Robbie and this group of Seniors for the Panthers have been playing together since freshmen year and they have been anticipating their senior year for a long time. According to Patterson, they just want to leave everything on the field, however I’m sure it’d feel even better to add some post season hardware to that.

Stay tuned for more athletes to come each week!
