South Medford’s unbeaten Panther Girls will meet Glencoe at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday 7 March. Live Radio on AM 610, Internet and Personal Mobile Devices with Joe Brett. Broadcast begins at 7:45 p.m. from Portland.
If South wins, they would play the winner of St. Mary’s-Central Catholic on Friday night at 6:30 p.m. While South was busy clobbering Tualatin 98-45 in the Round of 16, the Crater Comets fell at home to West Linn 50-38.
On the Boys side, what a matchup on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. at the Rose Garden. North Medford vs South Medford boys meet for a fourth time with the winner advancing to the state semi finals against the winner of Jesuit-David Douglas.
One hour pre game show live on AM 730 begins at 2:15 p.m. with Joe Brett and Tom Ersepke at the Rose Garden. Also game on the Internet and Personal Mobile Device.
All North and South Medford Boys and South Medford Girls games will be broadcast by Table Rock Sports. It appears we’ll have nine games over the four day tournament in what could be the biggest event in the history of Medford basketball. Never before have three teams advanced to the quarterfinals.
