WORLD SERIES CHAMPION NAMED NEW SUMMIT BASEBALL COACH

Oregon native, and former 17 year MLB veteran pitcher Alan Embree who helped lead Boston to the 2004 World Series Championship has been named the new Head Baseball Coach at Summit High School in Bend.
Embree retired from the game and built his retirement home in Bend where he has been very active in youth baseball coaching and providing instructional clinics. Embree was the pitching coach for Summit in 2012 when the Storm finished State Runnerup to Wilson.
