The list of Oregon High School graduates to ever play in the Superbowl is fairly small, and even smaller is the list of those athletes who have won a Superbowl Championship.
Redmond’s Jed Weaver is one of the grateful and honored to own a Superbowl ring, and to say he won a World Championship as part of the 2004 New England Patriots.
Weaver, who currently resides in Baca Raton, Florida working as a Luxury Real Estate specializing in relocating professional athletes reflected back on his days growing up in Redmond dreaming of the big time.
Jed shares his memories of the NFL, and once being cut by Mike Shanahan only to move forward, and win a Superbowl playing QB Tom Brady.
When Weaver turned down scholarship offers from NAIA, and other NCAA D2 and D3 schools, he was ‘all-in’ with walking on at Oregon all the while aiming to make it to the NFL.
