COWBOYS AND BULLDOGS OWN WRESTLING TITLES, AGAIN

Congratulations to Crook County and Culver High School for once again earning another OSAA State Wrestling team Championship over the weekend!!

It’s the 4th Title in Crook County school history, while Culver claims its 7th in the last 8 seasons.

These athletes work the absolute hardest and get the least amount of recognition, but having grown up in media covering Crater and Eagle Point wrestling over the years, I know just how special it is to win a Title, and continue to dominant and defend multiple Titles.

Roseburg won the 6A Title again, while Hermiston captured the 5A, and Crook County, coached by Jake Huffman, defended the 4A crown.

Glide owns this years 3A Championship, and J.D. Alley’s Culver Bulldogs win the 1A/2A Title.

Mt. View finished a strong 7th and Redmond 13th in the 5A division.

Among the central Oregon State Champions are:

Boomer Fleming-Ridgeview (195) Sr.

Tyler Berger-Crook Co., (152) Sr.

Spencer Crawford-Crook Co. (160) Jr.

Colbran Meeker-Crook Co. (145) Jr.

Kurt Mode-Crook Co. (120) So.

Trayton Libolt-Crook Co. (113) Jr.

Trevor Rasmussen-Crook Co. (220) Jr.

Marco Retano-Culver (113) Fr.

Clay McClure-Culver (145) Jr.
