The Cowgirls used the high winds to the benefit to win over Lady Rangers
ESTACADA, OR – Maybe it was the heavy rain. Maybe it was the wind. Maybe it was the scoreboard flickering on and off during the game. Either way, Friday’s wind and rain storm did not benefit the Lady Rangers, as they fell 13-2 in 6 innings to the Crook County Cowgirls.
Things did not start out well for the Lady Rangers (4-6, 0-1 Tri-Valley Conference), as the Cowgirls (5-4, 1-0 Tri-Valley Conference) stuck out 6 batters in the first three innings. Estacada held strong, only allowing 1 run in those 3 innings, but that’s when the rain and wind started taking its toll on the game.
