Meet Kailia Walter from Salem, Oregon.
She may not be a common living room name now, but what she may lack in familiarity and popularity, the 19-year old certainly makes up for with courage, dedication, and practicing-learning her craft to maybe one day be the next Danica Patrick.
Walter is an aspiring race car driver who knows far more, then just that the gas pedal is on the right side, and where to fill up the gas tank.
She knows that racing takes alot of study, patience, skill, and lady luck to be on your side, too.
Who knows, but there have been 3 men (Mike Bliss, Kasey Kahne & Greg Biffle) from the northwest who have made a name for themselves on the Nascar circuit, and maybe one day Walter will lead the pack to the green-white-checkered flags at Daytona.
Never say never boys, and it’s proven the race ain’t won on the first lap.
