MT. VIEW'S CHAPMAN WINS 'TRIPLE BI-PASS CHALLENGE'

The Mt. View Cougar football team added another Title to its resume last night as several members of the State 5A Champion football team were honored as VIP’s at Sideline’s Sports Grill, and competed in the ‘Triple Bi-Pass Challenge.’

Owner Trevor Kalberg (Sideline’s 1020 NW Wall Street-Bend) invited the Cougars to take the challenge to eat the largest made burger in Oregon in a one-hour time limit.

The rules

6 of the 8 Cougars accepted the challenge as they did in facing Sherwood in the Title battle Saturday night in Hillsboro with the Cougars prevailing, 14-13 for the school’s first Championship in 32-years of existence.
