How good does this Big Bad Burger look….?! mmmm…mmm!!
Ok, so like Sports Bars, I’ve tried them ALL in the 10-western states throughout my broadcast and basketball refereeing career, and found that SIDELINE’S SPORTS BAR & GRILL (1020 NW Wall St.-Bend) is by far THE Best overall I’ve sampled.
Likewise, I grew up in southern Oregon with a former inconic burger place called ‘Dell’s Hamburger’s’ and ‘Bob’s’ who both made a pretty awesome burger & milkshake. Now, in my former hometown there is Mr. Smith’s and my longtime friends Dane & Lynn who are famous for ‘The Bigass Burger’ in Medford.
Well, I feel right at home now having discovered PILOT BUTTE DRIVE-INS !!!
We at ESPN Radio 940 are pleased to announce our new partnership with GM Sean Baldwin, and the PILOT BUTTE DRIVE-INS which are locally owned, and have been since 1983!
I have to admit, we have turned down far bigger bucks to take on a ‘corporate’ sponsor like Domino’s, Taco Bell, and Burger King…BUT, our Show is based on ‘local & regional’ content, guests, information, and entertainment, and we believe that local, partnering with local, is a WIN-WIN no matter the dollar amount.
And, it’s not quite Noon yet, so I normally don’t ever have a Burger before Noon, but today is an exception….!! So, it’s 11:55am, and I can’t resist any longer.
