RIDGEVIEW COACH NOT LONG FOR CENTRAL OREGON

No doubt Andy Codding loves central Oregon, and the move his family made to the area just 3 years ago, but like most great Coaches they sooner, or later receive overtures and offers to move up the ladder.
Codding has no plans to leave his job as Head Coach/Athletic Director at Ridgeview HS in Redmond, especially given a brand new school, facilities, and top-flight football program. In fact, he’s never hinted that in any manner.
However, IF……I’m an Athletic Director, or School District of a 5A or 6A school, he would be on my short list to lure away from the Ravens and hire, big time.
But, Codding loves his job now, his school and his athletic program but I’m sure win or lose the 4A Title game that he will be talked with by other administrators across the State, just to see.
His career record in 5-seasons is 33-21 and 4-1 in playoffs.  He led The Dalles to 1-9, 8-3, and 6-4 seasons before moving to Redmond where he assisted Redmond HS.
In just two years at the new Ridgeview his record is an impeccable 18-5 with a Title appearance pending.  Ridgeview becomes the 23rd team from central Oregon to reach a Championship game, and the South Eugene graduate (1988) is hoping his team can capture the coveted blue Title Trophy meeting Cottage Grove.
Mt. View of Bend won the 5A Title in 2011.
