#31 Nick Gentry, Sr. 6-3/218 DE/TE
Gentry is a 1st Team ALL-IMC Defensive End & 1st Team Tight End who is 3rd on the team in Tackles with 44. Gentry has 13 assists for tackles, and 16 tackels for losses, and he’s dropped opposing QB’s 4 times for sacks.
Offensively, he’s been used primarily as a blocking end, but 6-catches for 207 yards and 5-Touchdowns.
#24 John Carroll, Jr. 6-3/181 WR/SS
John is a 1st Team ALL-IMC Outside Linebacker/Rover & 2nd Team Wide Receiver who missed the first few games with an achilles tendon strain.
Carroll is the Cougars 4th leading tackler with 41 solo take downs, and 12 assists. He has 3 interceptions, 1 for a 24-yard TD vs. Marist in the semifinal, and he also deflected a punt vs. Lebanon in the quarterfinals, and caught it in the end zone for a TD.
John has 32 receptions for 607 yards and 11 TD’s on the year.
