USC AND STANFORD DOWN ON THE FARM IN FIRST BIG PAC-12 GAME

The 2nd ranked USC Trojans meet the Stanford Cardinal Saturday afternoon down on the farm in Palo Alto in a key early-season Pac-12 showdown.

We know all about SC’s 4-year starting Quarterback Matt Barkley, and his two All-American wide receivers.

But, what do we know about the Cardinal in life after #1 NFL Draft pick Andrew Luck?

George Chen of  The Stanford Daily (www.thestanforddaily.com) talked with ESPN Radio 940 Thursday, and tells us about a talented runningback in Stepfan Taylor, who may surpass Darrin Nelson as the All-Time leading rusher in school history.

Plus, there’s a familiar named backup behind Taylor, too, whose father sliced through NFL defenses with the roar of a ‘Lion.’

And, Chen assess RS JR. QB Josh Nunes’ ability to lead Stanford to what they hope will be their 5th win in the last 6-meetings against the men of Troy.
