FROM THE '65 ROSE BOWL TO THE OSAA STATE TOURNEY

Paul Brothers led Oregon State to a controversial appearance in the 1965 Rose Bowl as the Beavers fell to Michigan, 34-7, but the state of Oregon great since has been turning out State Champions as the Head Coach of the #1 ranked Oregon 5A Girls team.

The Willamette Wolverines have 3 Title banners hanging in its gymnasium after claiming the 2007, 2009 and 2013 OSAA Championships coached by Brothers in his 21st season coaching in Oregon.

Willamette, 23-1, defends its Championship in the opening round of the OSAA State Tournament meeting Wilson of Portland Wednesday March 12th at 1pm.
